Description
Sr. Oracle DBA needed to work on local databases and to also work as part of a Global team. Provide direct production database management and administrative services for the Oracle databases including software version control, upgrades, migrations, and installations. This position will also be planning for future development of the systems and anticipate growth by capacity planning, space allocation and management while constantly monitoring and tuning the databases. Must also have experience designing and developing a plan for disaster recovery.

Experience with Oracle 10g/9i databases, certifications a big plus.
DBA experience in a large production environment (500gb or greater)
Experience supporting Oracle in a UNIX environment.
Skilled in database backup and recovery.
Performance tuning of production databases.
Degree or equivalent
