POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for analyzing, data mapping/designing and architecting for conversion and interface development from Legacy to Oracle Apps and vice versa.
Responsible for successfully fulfilling the role of someone who is experienced in the design, build, test, and implementation Interfaces using Oracle InterConnect (OAI) applications, and who can help ensure that application components meet both technical (80%) and functional (20%) requirement.
This person must have good oral and written communication skills and should assist in providing strategic guidance to the internal technical organization for Oracle InterConnect (OAI)/Oracle Apps, XML messaging based on continual involvement in the IT community.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Analyze/DataMapping for interface development and conversion of data from source (legacy system) to target (Oracle Apps environment)
Design for interface and conversion from source (legacy system) to target (Oracle Apps environment) and vice versa
Provide functional support during design of interfaces & conversion
Build/Implement/Support the interface developed using Oracle InterConnect (OAI)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Oracle certified Architect/technical lead for Oracle InterConnect (OAI)
EXPERIENCE:
List number of years of experience in the job and specific knowledge requirements.
2+ years Techno functional experience on Oracle InterConnect (OAI), iStudio technologies
3+ years in Oracle 9iAS, Oracle Apps technologies (both technical/functional)
5+ years of full life cycle application development experience (specially in interface development & conversion)
SKILLS:
Strong written and communication skills
Understanding of retail & managed service operation
Prior project leadership

S/W SKILLS:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
This is a multi-disciplinary technical role which requires strong Oracle 9iAS InterConnect (OAI) design skills, Oracle relational database knowledge, PL/SQL, Java knowledge XML and knowledge of Web application security.
Interface development experience utilizing Oracle InterConnect (OAI), XML Messaging
Experience with application design utilizing iStudio
Use of structured techniques for full life-cycle projects
Experience of end-to-end design, development, implementation of Interface/conversion on Oracle Apps technologies:
Need to have both very good technical knowledge (70-80%) on OAI and also very good functional knowledge (20-30%)
Must have good knowledge on Oracle Apps (AR, Billing//Service & Delivery) and Oracle 9iAS knowledge
Deployment/support of Interfaces using XML-based configuration files using OAI
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Oracle PL/SQL experience
Java Technologies experience
Tibco (or other industry leading) integration experience df-tc
