Requirements:

Primary: This is a Senior Programmer position and should be able to take the responsibilities of team leader that requires interaction with end users. The potential candidate should have 8+ years of total IT experience of which minimum 4years should be in a lead role. Previous experience in financial applications/industry is a must Minimum 4 year Engineering/Technical/Science Degree Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience with UNIX, C/C++, Sybase and Oracle Experience in working with Shell Scripting, SQR, SCCS and any third party API Individual should be familiar with Fixed Income and Derivative terminology Excellent Communication and Documentation skills Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, implementations, development and support activities. Should have prior experience of leading a team Secondary: Prior experience working with SUMMIT or any other Treasury product Experience in migration/upgarde of a financial product Job Role: The candidate is needed on-site to conduct the assessment and implementation of summit upgrade project Individual should be able to start coding immediately in UNIX, C/C++, Shell with Sybase and Oracle as backend The candidate will need to communicate with clients and facilitate meetings. The candidate will need to work closely with the DBA's and SA's for the technical upgrade of Summit The candidate will need to facilitate the testing of the new version of Summit with the end users. The candidate is required to coordinate between the vendor and the user community with the results of the testing The candidate will need to Document the requirements from users and proposed solutions The candidate should coordinate with the support resources of other IFC applications for testing all the interfaces with the new version of Summit The candidate is needed to provide production support of Summit, data repository and/or other financial applications. As a lead the candidate will need to be on-call for production issues from time to time. The system supports a $ 30 Billion portfolio and must be up at all cost when the bank opens for business.df-tc
