Description
Senior Project Managers are accountable for managing the development and execution of medium to large and moderate to complex project plans. Senior Project Managers manage multi-phase projects through all phases and direct Associate Project Managers and Project Administrators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defines WBS, estimates, and schedules for medium to large projects.
  • Implements and maintains quality systems and processes utilizing project management and software industry standard best practices.
  • Participates in the definition of user and business requirements gathering and strategy development.
  • Proficient in project management methodology and system development lifecycle.
  • Manages the identification and estimation of project cost, maintains appropriate project cot analysis, delivers projects within approved budget.
  • Maintains contract file and related correspondence.
  • Leads the development of SOW or RFP response.
  • Ability to lead teams of up to 10.
  • Manages the identification of resource requirements, staffs and assigns resources in accordance with the established budget and schedule for the project.
  • Mentors Associate Project Managers and Project Administrators.
  • Solid leader and motivator.
  • Demonstrates good relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective in conflict resolution and problem solving.
  • Exhibits solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interfaces with client project managers and associated business leaders.
  • Solid presentation skills.
  • Proficient with fundamentals and negotiates with client level personnel and internal staff for project support.
