With the introduction of ArchestrA software architecture, our product is effective for single applications or more complex enterprise-wide solutions, integrating with IT networks or even across enterprises.

Based in Lake Forest, Calif., the Wonderware and ArchestrA business units have regional sales and technical support offices throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia to provide support to its network of more than 160 distributor offices.

We have an immediate requirement for a SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS at our headquarters in Lake Forest, CA.

Person in this position will work as part of Runtime Services. The position involves design, coding and unit testing of software targeting Microsoft Windows. Participate in the design work, including creation of design documents in UML diagrams, functional specifications and other artifacts. Ability to work with a Software Test and Quality Assurance groups and Information Engineering is also important as well as working within a development team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are an essential element of the job.

Areas Of Responsibility:
20% Authoring design
10% Reviewing designs
60% Unit testing and coding and debugging.

Software Test, QA and Architects are this position?s primary customers. Will interact with Architects on domain requirements and delivery through to SW Test. Will interact with SW Test and QA on bug fixes and review of software design. Wil interact with other developers on code reviews and discussions of design specifications and best practices, in general.

Required Technical Skills:
C++ programming language
COM or Component Object Model
ATL and Visual Studio
WIN32 or Windows API.
