SENIOR SYSTEMS EXCHANGE ENGINEER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!!!!SCOPE OF POSITION:The Senior Systems Exchange Engineer will experience working in a large corporate server environment. The Senior Systems Exchange Engineer will perform additions/changes to the operating system. He/She must also provide direct support in day-to-day operations on the network operating system and troubleshoot the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software. Some travel may be required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates and/or performs changes to network hardware and operating system, and attached devices; includes investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and softwareProvides direct support in the day to day operations on network hardware and operating systems; duties include evaluation of system utilization, backups and schedules, virus scan software updates, and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems with little or no supervision.Perform reporting, monitoring and troubleshooting of an Exchange cluster and frontend server system. Repair and improve performance of exchange cluster and frontend email system.Troubleshoots at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices; at the logical level working with communication protocols.Takes part in planning design, technical review and implementation for new network operating systems for voice and data communication networks.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:BA in Information Systems or equivalent experience. 4-6 Years experience with hardware and software installation and maintenance. Extensive working knowledge of PC's network hardware, operating systems, and software. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex communication problems. MCSE certification with Exchange 2000 or 2003 exam completion. 5 + years on Exchange servers, Experience with Exchange cluster and frontend architecture.
