BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Provide applications and technical support to customers and Wonderware personnel using the Wonderware suite of products. This will involve comprehensive telephone support and on-site visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of the Device Integration/InControl Wonderware Technical Support Team you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and Wonderware personnel using the Wonderware suite of products. This will involve comprehensive telephone support and occasional on site visits. In addition, the position involves frequent problem replication and analysis in a lab environment. You will be interacting extensively with the Maintenance and Development organizations, and may be responsible for some quality assurance activities as they relate to new products, new releases and software error corrections. You will also develop technical support documents such as FAQ?s, troubleshooting tips, and similar items.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
?2+ years PLC experience (either installation, programming, or troubleshooting)
?Experience with common industry I/O such as that from Allen-Bradley, Phoenix Contact, Siemens
?Experience with Relay Ladder Logic (RLL), Sequential Function Chart (SFC), motion control logic, or structured text programming
?WinXP Pro, Win 2000 Professional and Server Win 2003 experience
?Windows, PC troubleshooting experience
?Strong problem solving skills
?A commitment to customer service
?Solid written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
?Experience working with Wonderware software products
?PC Network Troubleshooting Experience
?Knowledge of industrial networks (RS 232, 422, 485, DeviceNet, DH+, etc.)
?Experience with modems, especially radio modems
?Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
?Familiarity with digital multimeters, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes
?Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or Associates Degree in Industrial Instrumentation or Computers/Electronics strongly preferred
?Automation industry knowledge/experience
?Microsoft NT certification
?C/C++ programming skills
