SMS/SCCM Administrator- Minneapolis, MN Challenging contract opportunity for an experienced SMS (Systems Management Server) Administrator. In this role you will work as a member of this two person team. You will have a wide number of exciting responsibilities. As an SMS Administrator you will maintain SMS Infrastructure health, capacity planning, and serve as an escalation point (support level 3). Additionally, you will be responsible for patch management, incident mgmt, service request mgmt (Support Level 2), and SW Distribution. A deep understanding of SMS 2003 is required. Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Technology (SQL, AD, Windows Server 2003), have a working knowledge of SQL Server, have a solid background in networking concepts and implementations (IP addresses, subnets, WAN concepts, LAN concepts, etc), have experience with enterprise implementations of Microsoft Applications (SQL, AD, Exchange), be process orientated and have experience in an enterprise environment. The opportunity to participate in an SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) upgrade may also present itself.
