Client in Fountain Valley seeks a Network Administrator with extensive SNMP experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of global networked systems. Possess a strong knowledge base in SNMP (configuration, monitoring and administration) and other network protocols. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Plans and evaluates complex existing network systems and makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or enhance service levels and systems. Proactively ensures security procedures and operating system hot fixes patches and all applicable additions are implemented and enforced as required to provide a secure, stable and efficient computing environment. Provides highly skilled technical consultation and assistance to customers and staff in network planning and engineering. Qualifications: 5+ yrs exp in Network/Systems administration in global WAN environments. VERY STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH SNMP which is reflected in the resume. Exp in managing 500 client networks. Design, build and maintain Microsoft domains and network architectures. Monitors network performance and conducts required re-engineering of back and front office systems. Develops procedures for SNMP monitoring systems, reports and processes to ensure system quality. Ensure reliable performance and administration of networked systems through remote applications. Identifies potential system problems, recommends solutions, and implements most viable solution. Scripting exp. Develop and maintain network server configurations. MCSE/MCSA and Network+ certification. Expert knowledge of Windows 2003 (IAS, AD), backup/recovery, network security, switches/hubs.
