Unison Systems Inc. is a full-service IT consulting firm that specializes in both IT contingency based staffing and end-to-end IT Business and Software solutions. As an independent, locally owned consulting firm that has been in business since 1997, we have 3 main areas of expertise: Software Life Cycle Support, Data Warehouse Support, and Infrastructure Support.

Unison Systems has an immediate need for a Middleware/SOA Architect. Opportunity in Atlanta, Knoxville or Denver for an experienced Middleware Architect to join a Services Integration Center Team. This is a mid to senior level position, looking for someone with 7+ years of professional experience. This is both an architectural and hands-on position, needing someone who can help define high level direction, and then implement that vision.

Required Skills:

- WebSphere configuration and administration in an enterprise environment

- Experience with a diverse set of J2EE Middleware/Containers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere, TIBCO, etc???)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Enterprise SCM

Desirable Skills:

- TIBCO ESB

- Software development background (preferably Java)

- Profiling, analysis and tuning of deployed code in a variety of environments

- SOA concepts

Responsibilities:

- Help define future middleware architectural direction for the company

- Define and implement migration plan of a diverse set of applications to a common architectural platform

- Create standardized and version controlled middleware environments for deployment into Development, QA and Production

- Work closely with IT team to streamline deployment activities

- Work with development teams to leverage middleware tools fully

- Hands on analysis of patches and upgrades of middleware products

Location: Englewood, CO, Atlanta, GA or Knoxville, TN

Contract: 6 month contract to hire

Hourly Pay: $50-55./hr. W2
