SOA Architecture/Developer - Contract

About the job:
Provide architecture and design services to address the technology needs of our client in Charlotte, NC.
Provide IT strategy, enterprise architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), integration, and application development
Maintain responsibility for technical leadership on client's SOA projects by serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for clients and the project team
Investigate, analyze, define, tailor, and implement technology solutions to create greater alignment between technology and business goals and construct adaptable systems for enduring performance

Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience with systems architecture
3 years of experience with SOA, J2EE, or .NET architecture
3 years of experience with full life-cycle development, including requirements, design, implementation, integration, and testing
3 years of experience implementing n-tiered applications
Experience with Web services development
Experience with Web services standards, technologies, and tools, including SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI 

Educational Requirement:
BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with XML and relational databases
Ability to present professionally and persuasively to clients
Possession of excellent interpersonal and strategic-oriented thinking skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
