Description
Key responsibilities include:
. Implementing new/modified application systems and platforms based on a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework
. Contribute a high level of technical expertise by participating in Java framework development; consulting on architecture, SOA and database design.
. Responsibility for the timely delivery of defined service offering, which includes managing the expectations of management, communicating decisions and issues and presenting critical information
. Mentoring and leading internal application teams

The successful candidate will need:
. Excellent working knowledge of SOA, OOAD techniques and UML.
. Ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions
. 8+ years experience in architecting, designing and implementing cross platform solutions in large enterprises.
. Understand architectural best practices, processes and standards and apply them across a breadth of technologies to orchestrate a solution.
. Skillful in identifying architectural risks.
. A deep understanding of the concept and implementation of at least two core technologies (for example, MVC, J2EE, Web\Portal) plus the ability to quickly assimilate information about new technologies.
. Implemented solutions involving multiple vendor applications integrated in a web environment.
. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams, as well as vendors and consultants
. Well developed oral and written communications, as well as solid presentation skills. Ability to present technical information to a business audience.df-tc
