Description


We are recruiting for Software/Data Analyst for a long-term contract position with a global leader in paints and coatings located in a South West suburb of Cleveland.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to provide functional and technical support and analysis of software solutions to an innovative and growth-oriented manufacturer.

Responsibilities will include:
Creation and deployment of color software solutions.
Quality Assurance sign-off of software solutions.
Implementation and maintenance of streamlined business processes used in deploying software solutions.
Identifying opportunities for effective uses of technology, and implementation and support of technologies.
Identifying and correcting data issues in software solutions.

Requirements include:
3-5 years of work experience in Information Technology, Hardware, and Software Support and Administration roles, OR a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
3 years experience in SQL Queries.
Strong database skills related to data normalization, queries, and effective database structure and design.
Skills in SQL Query Analyzer and MS Access.
Working knowledge of operating systems platforms including Windows XP, 2000, and Vista.
Working knowledge of Networks and networking methods and terminology.
Familiarity with project management terms and methods, and business process mapping techniques.
Familiarity with application packaging and deployment software (ie, InstallShield).
Analytical and technical skills to isolate problems, fix needs, and offer solutions based on root cause analysis.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Team player.
