Description
Software Developers create a vision for customer software deliverables. Using business insight as well as technical knowledge, they plan, design, implement, analyze, review, and enhance software products with a focus on quality and security for customers. They also help define and implement application development standards and best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

- BS in Computer Science or related field
- C/C++, Perl, XML, Scripting
- Critical thinking/Problem solving
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Unix / Linux


ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
-MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- Database Experience (Oracle, MySQL, etc)
- Grid/Distributed Computing Environments
- Visioning and thought leadership
- IBM/Ascential DataStage or other ETL Tools
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Java (J2EE, JBoss, JSF)
- Distributed application development (client / server) using CORBA and/or SOAP
