This individual will be a senior member of technical staff in the server infrastructure development team. Responsibilities include full life-cycle architecture, design, and development of software components for Solaris and Linux. These components require experience with network/distributed programming, programming complex behaviors/policies/ algorithms, multithreaded programming, and network management protocols internal. The individual will work closely with other teams of product development and other team members in delivering high quality software product. Qualifications Required- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree. - At least 6 years total software engineering experience, including at least 4 years experience with C/C++- Experience with full-life cycle commercial software development- Experience developing and maintaining APIs. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Self motivated with ability to work and collaborate effectively - Solaris/Linux System Programming- Unified Modeling Language (UML)- Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) Preferred- Telecom industry experience- Working knowledge of Oracle - Familiar with: IP Networking, SNMP, TL1 offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
