SONET/SDH network test engineerLocation: Petaluma, CADescriptionThe test SONET/SDH engineer will be responsible for platform conformance, system, functional and integration testing of a next generation Ethernet/SONET/SDH transport system.Skills and experience * Ability to identify problems, recognize the severity and impact of those problems, and report and track them through the established mechanisms is required * Knowledge of verifying SONET transport technology including OAM&P functionality, synchronization, protection switching, and network interoperability (linear, star, mesh, ring, BLSR and UPSR); * Hands-on experience monitoring or modifying data network traffic implementing SONET/SDH * Familiarity with industry network analyzer test equipment such as Acterna ANT10/20 and Agilent OmniBer equipment.df-tc
