Description
We are looking for an I.T. audit consultant to assist us mainly on the I.T. related portion of the Sarbanes-Oxley Project. In this role, the consultant will be responsible for performing the evaluation of I.T. applications and general system controls. This includes documenting key processes, identifying major controls, testing of financial applications and/or general system controls, recommending procedures for improvement, and establishing plans for ongoing monitoring as dictated by Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Qualifying candidates will have
Actual Sarbanes Oxley compliance experience.
Strong IS auditing skills specifically in designing, implementing, testing and documenting internal system controls.
Good working knowledge and ability to evaluate the effectiveness of controls over the following platforms: UNIX, AS 400, Windows NT, Novell Netware, and IBM mainframes.
Related discipline CISA or CIA credentials desired
Minimum of five years process, application, and general controls auditing experience (internal or external) desired.
Must be able to work effectively and independently on assigned IT audit areas.
Strong time/project management, verbal/written communication, and analytical skills.
