**This position is Contract Contingent upon Funding Award and expected date of award is anticipated to be between

December 1, 2006 and January 1, 2007.

Job Summary:



Responsibilities:



Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.



Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.



Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.



Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.



Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations.



May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.



Maintain equipment including: IBM S390, RAMAC disk array, Cisco routers, VAX 4000, TU81 Tape Drives, Sun Servers and other electronic equipment.



Background & Educational Experience Required:



High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree



Demonstrated ability to perform assigned preventive and demand maintenance tasks



Three (3) Years of experience.



High School or GED required; Associates Degree Desired; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.



Other:



Position will require training in Colorado Springs for several months, then permanent placement in the billet in the Vandenburg Air Force base location outside Lompoc, CA.



SALARY CONSIDERATIONS:



Negotiable based upon years of experience, skill sets, and level of education, as well as geographic location of work site and job title classification. Salary negotiations for this position start at: $TBD+ annually, plus full benefits for full-time employees.



A DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (DOD) CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED: To meet the minimum qualifications of this position: Job seekers must be eligible for working in the US to meet minimum security clearance requirements. Job seekers selected for interviews will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.



CLEARANCE REQUIRED: US Citizenship & DoD TS/SCI.
