Financial client in Aliso Viejo, CA seeks a SQA Analyst Consultant for a 3-6 month assignment. The QA Analyst will be responsible for extensive levels of quality assurance, test and evaluation of company software products on assigned projects. Essential duties include: * Defining the management, development and execution of white box and/or black box level testing * Actively developing test plans and procedures as required for specific project requirements * Working closely with project development lead engineers * Reporting and tracking software defects and verifying program fixes * Participating in and providing feedback for different levels of design review Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics) * 3 - 5 years related experience * Programming and/or test experience using Cold Fusion, HTML, SQL Server, and .NET for the Windows 2003 and/or XP platform * Knowledge and operation of personal computer hardware and associated operating system software, specifically Windows 2003 or XP * Experience in the development and maintenance of detailed test plans and procedures and software defect tracking and reporting * Familiarity with software and/or quality related metrics and statistics desired * Ability to draft comprehensive test reports * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skill * Outstanding attention to detail Job Title: SQA Analyst Consultant Primary Skills: SQA; Test Documentation; .Net; SQL Server Job Industry: Banking/Finance Vacancies: 1 Job City: Aliso Viejo Job Metro Area: Aliso Viejo Job State: CA Job Country: US Salary: DOE Hours per Week: 40 Start Date: ASAP Job Duration: 3 - 6 months Detailed Job Duration: 3 MONTHS Degree Type: BS Degree Area: Computer Science Experience Minimum: 5 Years Certificates/Licenses: Candidates responding to this posting must currently possess the eligibility to work in the United States.
