Description
Work as part of a team responsible for guaranteeing customer satisfaction with Autodesk's Manufacturing Solutions in the area of Engineering Data Management (EDM) by providing quality assurance testing to verify that functional, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability requirements have been met.

Responsibilities:

? Function as a key member of an architecture/design team working to implement test automation infrastructure and tools.
? Responsible for working with the development team to refine product API and ensure APIs provide required interfaces for test automation support.
? Participate in the development of test automation framework and toolsets
? Participate in developing test strategies for Autodesk EDM products covering functional, load, performance, and workflow tests.
? Work to define and implement automation routines for install and configuration testing
? Define processes and mechanisms which will be used to determine successful validation criteria, assess degree of product test coverage, and understand important environmental issues.
? Contribute to assessment of product quality and release readiness.

Requirements:

? 3+ years experience with Win 32 API, C++, COM, Visual Basic, and VB.net/C#
? 3+ years designing and implementing test automations for multi-tier or client/server applications in a Windows environment
? 2+ years experience in database testing or database development using SQL Server
? Experience in scalability and load testing of multi-tier web based applications.
? 2+ years experience with web services or web-related technologies (JavaScript, JSP, Perl, HTML, ASP/ASP.NET etc.)
? BS or higher in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field
? Solid understanding of QA processes and software development life cycle
? Ability to work closely with development and QA to coordinate automated testing projects
? Exposure to CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, ProE,Catia etc) a plus
? Experience with software test automation tools such as WinRunner/LoadRunner a plus
? Experience with MS Windows and MS Office Suite
? Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to work in a highly collaborative, multi-country/time zone environment
? Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.
