Description
We are looking for a SQA Test Engineer interested in a contract with our client in Camas. This person will test SW for our clients line of networked digital printers. Your tasks will include writing test plans, developing tests, writing automated tests and executing these tests. You will track and report progress, communicate issues and recommendations with our clients management.

Requirements:

This position requires knowledge of the tools and techniques used in testing the networking functionality of our clients MFPs at the packet inspection level. You will need to have direct experience doing network protocol testing on a variety of networks. Knowledge of software development and software test practices such as defect tracking, defect isolation, use of debugging tools, risk assessment and reporting on quality issues. Experience with an automated test tool such as Visual Test or QTP is desirable. Three or more years of software development or test experience with at least one year's focused experience in network testing. Must have familiarity with Windows and Linux networking environments and working knowledge of Windows development tools and network protocol analyzer software packages.

Must have skills:
- Direct experience writing test plans and running network protocol testing on two or more projects
- Three or more years of software testing experience, with progressively increasing levels of contribution is required
- Familiarity with testing software in a Windows environment and Windows development tools (Visual Studio.)

Desired Skills and Knowledge include:
- Engineering degree (A. A., B.S.) or Networking Certifications are preferred.
- Experience with software applications or firmware associated with Printers, Scanners and MFPs.
- Experience working with international teams.df-tc
