Description
We are looking for a MS SQL Developer to manage our database, implementations, design, integration and administer the organization’s databases with custom database applications.The ideal candidate will possess Strong MS SQL 2000/2005 database and database application programming skills. In addition, any complimentary web development skills in such areas as .NET, HTML, Javascript, SOAP, and XML will be a plus. Work involves managing the planning, development, implementation, and administration of a database system in house and for clients.

Experience/Skills
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • analyzing and defining data requirements and specifications; • designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases;• manage, extend and further develop existing .Net code basis in cooperation with development vendors; • conduct data analysis, reporting needs as required using MS Reporting Services;• maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of databases; • installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems software; • analyzing and planning for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements; • developing and administering data standards, policies, and procedures; • developing and implementing data mining and data warehousing programs; • evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures; and/or • ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services.
