Description
One(1) immediate opening available for junior level SQL Server DBA with Productions database and application development skills. Growing Web Development department of major corporation has immediate openings for an experienced DBA to develop and maintain SQL server databases for ASP / SQL-based Internet and Intranet applications using Microsoft technologies, including Windows 2000, SQL Server 2000, IIS, and Visual Studio .NET. Work in a casual, relaxed setting at our International Headquarters in suburban Birmingham. You'll have access to state-of-the-art hardware and development tools while working with other highly skilled developers in a leading edge Microsoft environment.

Requirements: 1+ years of SQL exp (Microsoft SQL Server preferred); 1+ yrs of Visual Basic (database app experience preferred);Oracle exp., formal training in Computer Science (B.S. or Microsoft Certification preferred).

Preferences: 1+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2000; scripting (Visual Basic Script); electronic commerce; Full text indexing experience

Non-tech Skills: Excellent communication skills (including technical writing); quick learner; self-starter (initiative will be rewarded); ability to work well in a structured team environment; dedication to staying current in Web development technologies.
