Description
Our Client in Napa Valley, CA is looking for a SQL - DBA Consultant with 5 to 7 years of MS SQL server experience. Support SQL Server 2000 and SQL 7 in both development and production environments is required. The candidate should have very strong skills in Performance tuning, Replication and Clustering, Backup/recovery, installation and upgrades of RDBMS. Exposure to databases that support ecommerce sites is expected.

The candidate would work with the development team to develop customized applications including providing advice on logical and physical data models as well as helping with performance tuning. He wil be involved in database planning, creating tables and in the design of the basic structure of the database.

The individual will be on call duty once in three weeks and should respond to page request.

Relocation and travelling expenses will not be funded. The candidates will have complete background check. Kindly respond with an updated word resume.
