Currently, we are seeking an experienced SQL DBA for a long term contract position in the LA area. Candidates eligible for W2 Employment ONLY.

Job Description:
The SQL DBA will be responsible for the back up, tuning and 24/7 environment.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Back Up, Tuning and 24/7 Environment experience
- MS SQL Server, SQL 2000, SQL 2005, T-SQL, DTS/ETL
-Experience in Stored Procedure Coding
-Optimization and troubleshooting techniques to address performance problems on SQL Server
-High availability OLTP environments using clustering technologies
-XML

Desired Skills:
- Experience with data mining of terabyte data sets.
- MSDBA certification
-Open Source Database experience
