Description

Duties/Skills/Experience:
Will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documenting database applications in both existing and new system modules
Must have strong integration, Scripting and reporting skills
Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
Responsible for availability and performance of the databases that support the military
Responsible for implementation and release of database changes
Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the DBs to include rollout and upgrades
Should have a strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
Demonstrable experience with relational design principles, stored procedures, schema, indexes, triggers and user defined functions
Familiarity with source management tools
Commitment to deadlines and willingness to meet the needs of a 24x7 environment

Candidates should have 5+ years of full lifecycle SQL DBA experience
Experience wit Remedy and/or SharePoint is highly desired, but not required

Must be a citizen and be abe to hold a security clearance. You do not need a Current/active clearance to apply, but must be able
pass a government security background investigation.
