Description
Training and experience in SQL data manipulation language to perform queries, tuning, and maintenance.
- A solid understanding of relational database design, including actual design experience.
- Administrative experience with SQL Server/MSDE, including performing backups, maintaining database security, and other routine tasks.
- DBA certification desirable.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as a DBA or related field working with databases
- Prefer someone with working knowledge of regulations related to FDA (CFR part 11), data handling, security, and processes.
- Strong familiarity with SQL database security roles
- Understanding of data protection schemes utilizing encryption.
- Ability to optimize DB performance by diversification, hardware recommendation and implementation, SQL optimization, load balancing, clustering, etc.df-tc
