SQL Database Administrator

Our client is the leading provider of public affairs strategy and technology solutions to corporations and associations. Our clients include a large majority of the Fortune 100 and many of the nations largest associations. We are a profitable, fast growing company that is passionately client focused.

Our client is currently searching for a production Database Administrators with excellent MS-SQL experience.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with a team and excel in a fast-paced, client intensive environment.

Responsibilities include:
** Participate in the corporate-wide SQL Server database administration and control in a high availability, clustered SQL-Server based database environment
** Design, create, enhance, review and execute DTS packages, stored procedures, triggers, and database schemas
** Implement, maintain, and document policies, procedures and standards to ensure security and integrity of test and production data
** Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of DBA tools
** Perform on-call duties and system implementations and upgrades that may occur after normal business hours and weekends as required to minimize business impact.

Requirements:
** At least three years experience as a production DBA
** Strong organizational skills
** Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
** Proven track record of timely project completion
** College degree strongly preferred
** MS Certifications are highly desirable
** Development DBA experience is highly desirable
** Programming background is highly desirable
