Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking a SQL DBA for one of our clients in Louisville, Kentucky. This individual will be responsible for developing and analyzing features, functions, and sections of software systems. This individual will assess system requirements, complete system flow charts, and document development activities. Writes code for assigned sections, checks functionality, and ensures that programming is easy to read and understand. Supports team members and ensures that established deadlines are met. Keeps management well informed of area activities and of any significant problems.

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate will have all of these qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in an IT field or related experience.
  • Two or more years of experience with SQL database management and administration, including database tuning, re-indexing, back-up, and recovery.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Reporting Services to create customized reports, including multi-dimension reports with drill-down capabilities, helpful.
  • Experience with MS SQL Analysis Services helpful.
  • Dot Net (.Net) programming experience would be very helpful.
  • Experience developing and working with Microsoft SharePoint BDC applications, and experience creating custom SharePoint web parts, helpful.
  • Experience developing Crystal reports is a plus.
