Description
Our Client in the South Jersey area is looking for a SQL DBA to administer and control tier organizations data resources. The candidate will have 6-8 yrs work experience in database administration planning, design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management. They will also have working knowledge of database platforms, in depth working knowledge of the Microsoft SQL platform and all associated administrative tools. Candidates will be required to recover corrupted data, eliminate data redundancy and leverage database tools to improve database performance and efficiency. Must be proficient in VB, VBS, SQL, PHP and have the ability to work with large excel spread sheets. All resumes must be submitted via email to ryan.miller@rht.com.Responsibilities:•Monitor performance and manage parameters on all databases to provide fast query responses to 'front end' users.•Develop new and manage existing databases considering both 'back end' organization of data and 'front end' accessibility for end users. Monitor user access and security.•Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions on all installed databases.•Develop, manage and testing of backup and recovery procedures.•Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly. •Working closely with IT manager rolling out and installing new applications.•Create and maintain tools such as DTS packages or queries for importing and exporting data from one database to another.•Daily, weekly or monthly vendor exports using queries, DTS packages or any other data transfer methods required. •Maintain the company website using PHP.•Work with IT manager creating network login scripts, custom validations (STARS), workflows (IMAGERIGHT) and any other programming needed for company installed programs.
