Title: SQL Database AdministratorPay Rate = $44Location: Washington DCCareer Level: 3+ years Description: The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for systems that host the corporate data repositories on a MS SQL server platform in a secure, global, enterprise environment. Additional Responsibilities:• Tweak procedures• Write scripts• Figure why the server may be running slowly.• Work with developers, performance tuning, trunk maintenance, instances of performance tuning, setting up the server.Requirements:• Bachelor’S degree in Computer Science or related area. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field> • 3+ years of experience working as an applications database administrator on MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005. • Extensive experience with T-SQL optimization and troubleshooting in a production environment. • Proven command of monitoring mission critical production DB servers and business processes • Proven command of database design and architecture, as well as the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.Please send your resume sandy.anderson@rht.com
