Description
Database Administrator will be responsible for managing SQL Server databases, performing SQL server administration, database performance tuning, security, maintaining and troubleshooting all scheduled jobs on SQL Servers.Support the development of data architecture, systems integration, and hands on customization of solutions. Also responsible for supporting the application development team in designing, modeling and creating databases, stored procedures, triggers and moving all database objects to the production environment. The Database Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring that development and staging production database environments are maintained and up to date. Experience/Skills
Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in Database Administration. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Database Migration from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 systems.Creation of DTS packages (stored procedures,triggers, views, scripts, etc.). object-oriented programming experience is required.
