SQL Database Analyst – CONTRACT TO HIRE.Our client is a family owned business, located in Roseburg, Oregon and operating since 1931. This company is the largest independent dairy company in southern Oregon. They manufacture a full line of fresh dairy products including milk, cream, cottage cheese, sour cream, ice cream and butter. Our client operates in eight distribution depots throughout Oregon and is nationally recognized for great tasting milk and ice cream products.You will work with many kinds of people in a busy and changing environment. There will be lots of client facing time.Required technical skills:1) SQL 20052) ACTIVE DIRECTORY 20033) Networking knowledge to assist on support issues. Additional skills would be desirable: • Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and SMTP • Cisco ASA firewall (programming, VPN, etc.) Experience and remote network support • Networking experience including: troubleshooting connectivity issues, fixing network errors, routers, switches, etc. • Exchange administration • Terminal Services • Tech support skills including; computer hardware/software upgrades and upkeep, good people skills and the ability to train at any level • Good problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment • Sharepoint services a plusSome travel to the distribution centers required. There are 74 users spread across 7 locations. Most of the work is done remotely but on occasion need to have on-site.
