Description

As a Database Developer, you will be interacting with business units and project managers to determine reporting needs, and diagnosing and solving problems based on changing user requirements.

Skills/Expertise required:

. SQL language, data retrieval, data manipulation.
. SQL2000/SQL Server development and query design
. Database programming in at least one of: Perl/DBI, VB, VBA or MS Access and MS Excel.
. Hands-on database management, ETL processes, data conversion and data manipulation experience in large and desktop databases.
. Data warehousing projects and techniques (desirable) Ability to work independently by receiving assignments in terms of objectivesEducation/Experience:
. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
. Previous experience in pharmaceutical/health care environment is a plus.
. Experience in SAS (version 8 or up) programming and analysis is a plus
. At least 3 years of professional business systems development (analysis, design, and programming) experience, preferably in a complex systems environment.
