Genesis10 is seeking a SQL Server Database Developer in Madison for a 6 month contract.
Our client is looking for a SQL Server Database Developer which will assume primary responsibility for analyzing results and performance trends for direct marketing campaigns geared towards their clients.

Client seeks Developers that are proficient SQL 2000/2005 Database Developers in a Windows environment. These individuals will be responsible for working with complex queries, referencing SQL database tables, generating stored procedures, triggers, views and using the SQL Server Tools such as DTS and BCP packages. These individuals will do development work, support for the campaign environment and may also do some Business Analyst work such as requirements gathering.

Experience/Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Statistics and a minimum of 3 years experience in marketing analytics, research or quantitative analysis in either consumer or B2B direct marketing of financial services.

Strong analytic skills including statistical significance and data mining techniques.

Competent knowledge of SQL =E2=80=93 including joins, subselects, queries

Proven teamwork and interpretive skills to articulate a story and describe not only the depth, genesis, and evolution of data but the application of that data to a future situation or opportunity.

Experience working with large databases

Experience with improving the efficiency of the SQL Server Databases and maintaining Security

Experience with the entire SDLC including gathering requirements, performing analysis and design skills.

Thorough testing, and the ability to quickly learn the database data is a must.
