Description
This position is a 6 month contract to hire position. The department is Corporate & Distributed Systems in support of HR and Treasury. This person will be working on the HR Replacement project.

They are primarily looking for someone with that is stronger is SQL Server. Knowing SQL tools is key, along with DTS creation. Most of the big data files are on the mainframe. But, there are a lot of the apps that use SQL Server on the back end and that are synced with the mainframe. Most of the work would be done around those types of apps.

Experience/Skills
This is a cross-disciplined shop, so being a jack of all trades is very helpful. There is NOT a ton of new development. But since it is a Microsoft shop, they would need to have light VB.Net or ASP.Net experience. There is a lot of trouble shooting existing applications. Lately, they have been doing a lot with SharePoint. But, it is NOT expected that we will find someone with SharePoint experience. They'll train on that. This person will also be working as a liaison between this IT team and their internal client which is HR. This team handles whatever their client (HR) wants them to.

So SQL Server experience is key with light VB.Net or ASP.Net.
