Fortune 500 company in the downtown Birmingham area is looking for a sharp individual to assist in Metrics Reporting. Job responsibilities include:


* Perform trend and root cause analysis


* Perform significant data mining


* Design, test, debug, and document reports


* Provide performance metrics


Job Experience and Education
Bachelors' degree in business or a computer related field of
study highly preferred
Understanding of relational databases and ability to
comprehend a
data dictionary; data mining, process improvement, and root
cause
analysis experience required
Working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access & Excel, strongly
preferred
Experience with Cognos Impromptu Reporting is desired


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Understanding of process improvement; Research/resolution skills;
Provide
trend/risk analysis and develop recommendations to improve customer
satisfaction or system performance; Ability to design, test, debug, and
document programs on moderately complex projects
