Description
Maintain SQL Server: Schedule updates, verify data, and troubleshoot errors. Generate process improvement and bring best practice and new ideas to the IT group. Support technical design, testing, and implementation of reports for logistics operations and management while maintaining clarity and integrity. Provide technical expertise in migration of management reports from MS Access database platform to Oracle backend, MOLAP cube front end reporting structure. Handle daily ad-hoc report requests from customers. Full Life Cycle of database development including analysis, specifications, design, development, testing, support and documentation, and user training. Help to coordinate consistent data collection and reporting for a multiple site/business Logistics network. Map business processes and data needs to storage and retrieval requirements. Maintain definitions, interfaces and integrity of Logistics Metric data. Coordination with IT Group for database modifications/interfaces.
