SQL Report Writer

Start: Early Jan 07
Duration: 6 months minumum
Location: Bellevue



The SQL Report Writer will be working with the business/systems analyst on the report changes/increases.

This individual should have the following skills:
For this position, we are specifically looking for SQL 2005 and SQL Reporting Services
Transact SQL (T-SQL). He/she will be required to modify existing stored procedures, views, and query SQL tables.
Needs to understand how to create complex queries that return large volumes of data and have minimal impact to the server.
Excel pivots and spreadsheets. He/she will be helping create/modify the base Excel reports that display the information.
Data Analysis. He/she will need to be able to research and recognize data issues and discrepancies. Some previous experience in this would be preferable.
HTML/XML. He/she will be modifying HTML within reports.
ASP .NET. (Nice to have) He/she will also be creating/modifying the web UI for the reports.
Office Web Components (OWC). (Nice to have) He/she will be using OWC in the reports to enable Excel pivots and spreadsheets from the web.
