Description
Our client located in North Jersey is looking for a SQL DBA for production support. This person's primary responsibilities will be installation, maintenance, monitoring and support of Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 databases. A future responsibility may be to administer Oracle databases.

Experience supporting SQL 2000 and 2005 on Windows 2000 and 2003, including system installations and upgrades, backup/recovery, data server migration, database maintenance and support, release management, troubleshooting, performance tuning, developer and 3rd party product support. Experience with installation and configuration of SQL server clustering features active/active and active/passive environments. Experience with SQL server log shipping feature.df-tc
