Description
A dynamic company in Alexandria, VA is searching for a Database Administrator to join their team. This is a permanent FT position. You would implement databases, maintain clean and secure databases with user group schemas and database user accounts, optimize application queries and database indices, and monitor performance for relevant objects. You would also be involved in making design recommendations for project technical requirements.

Experience/Skills
Experience with SQL Server 2000 is required as well as an extensive knowledge of SQL commands and functionality. These are large databases running 24/7. Experience with a programming language is preferred. Any Windows 2000 or 2003 server and network administration is a plus.
