Description
Positions: 2 The consultant must have........ Responsibilities include both traditional database administration duties, as well as some application analysis and/or development. DBA duties specific to MS SQL Server include: Backup/Restore, monitoring established schedules, identifying problems, making adjustments as necessary. Restore db versions for developers as requested. Administrative maintenance (building tables, indexes, stored procedures, etc.) Performance Tuning, including identifying system bottlenecks and T-SQL analysis. Database security, user and access management. Capacity Planning, monitoring space usage, and performance, making configuration adjustments as necessary. Database server monitoring and recommendations for server updates or problem identification. Management of scheduled jobs, monitoring and researching reported issues, assisting with fixes. Management of DTS Packages creating, running, or monitoring processes.
