Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
4-5 years programming experience with full knowledge of at least one programming language.
Minimum 5 years database application development experience with 2+ years SQL Server.
2 years application development experience in a C#.NET environment.
SQL Server 2005.
Experience with Data Warehousing.
Must be able to implement administration strategies including but not limited to logical partitioning, data federation strategy, backup/recovery, clustering, and log shipping.
May be required to work and/or lead special projects or teams.
Experienced in writing stored procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellence in analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to deliver results with strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills:
Experienced with the agile development methodology.
Experienced with SQL Server design and administration efforts.
Experienced with some database design and database administration.
Working knowledge of multiple Progressive databases and applications.

A seasoned SQL Server database administrator responsible for database design and administration efforts related to operational, search and support databases. This position supports a project that is viewed as ground-breaking and visionary by Microsoft, IBM, and many other industry analysts. It also offers experience with large enterprise applications that change the landscape of IT systems. It will be challenging, mind expanding, and rewarding as it will expose you to scenarios, scale and solutions beyond what could be experienced in any other project.
