Description
SQL Server DBA needed with .Net environment background.
(Visual Basic 6.0, VB Script, MS SQL Server (2000, 2005), Windows NT, MTS, ISS)

Desired Certification:
MCSD

Knowledge of client/server, Internet technologies and/or ASP coding to support the software language specified above.
Knowledge of MS Analysis Server.
Ability to assist in the development of local support of production databases
Ability to implement MS SQL Server solutions to build database systems that are high quality, scalable and high performance
Access business rules, perform logical and physical data modeling, implement physical database objects and manage data
Ability to develop optimized stored procedures, tune databases, and implement databases in a MS SQL Server environment
Ability to communicate implementation limitations and data driven solutions with all levels of the project team and management
5+ years professional experience with database design, development, and implementation in a three-tier distributed environment
Coordinates and participates in activities associated with production SQL Servers
Assist training within database operations and other internal teams in the areas of database technology and support
Provides assistance in resolving problems with production SQL Server databases and tracking SQL Server problems with internal Microsoft customers
May oversee or participate in small projects and participate in medium to large projects
1-2 years of work related experience in two of the following technical disciplines: SQL coding, physical database design, performance tuning, distributed databases, database internals, MS Windows NT operating system
Demonstrated knowledge of relational database management systems and client server technologies
Most be familiar with backup/recovery strategies, distributed databases, data migration, security and SQL error handling
Develop and update system documentation as required
Should possess a high-level understanding of NT security and network configurations
