Description
Ajilon Consulting has a new opening available that is a contract-to-hire with our client. This is a immediate need for a 3 or 6 month to contract to hire.

Seeking an experienced Microsoft SQLServer DBA with 5+ years of experience who will be instrumental in leading standardization effort
for several hundred production SQLServer databases across the enterprise. Candidate will be based at our headquarter location in
Cincinnati, OH

Experience/Skills
Requires 5+ years of SQL Server (Ver. 2000 & 2005) DBA experience supporting multiple SQL server databases (100+)
* 24x7 Production support experience required
* Knowledge/experience in supporting active/active clusters and log-shipping replication
* Willingness to carry pager and provide support outside of normal business hours on a rotational basis
* Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL industry best practices
* Ability & expertise to recommend corporate wide MS SQL standards
* Understanding of best practices in standardized monitoring of MS SQL databases
* Influential and persuasive, ability to drive change
* Application and Database tuning
* Backup and Recovery
* Disaster Recovery Planning
* Certification preferred
