SQL Server DBA
Direct Hire
Location: Plano, TX

Essential Job Functions:
The Sr. SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the performance and health of the databases in an environment processing large amounts of data. Responsibilities include administration, backup and recovery, monitoring and forecasting, and database maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
??? Minimum 8 years experience with SQL Server
??? Senior level DBA with heavy emphasis (70%) on administration versus strong development
??? Experience migrating from 2005 to 2008 highly preferred
??? Ability to work with development team
??? Proficiency with SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc
??? Experience working in environments with large volumes of data
??? Proficiency with SSIS
??? Experience with Microstrategy highly preferred
??? Able to work independently with little direction
??? Able to take on-call rotation one out of every 3 weeks
