Description
We are representing a company that has several DBA positions, ranging from mid level at $65K to senior level at $90K. The DBA's will support a 24/7 high-transaction-volume environment. Some of the tasks include: install and maintain production, development and test SQL Server databases; databse design and creation; configuration of complex systems; back-up; automation of functions. Will handle network and OS issues related to SQL Server. Will support and troubleshoot for developers and all users. Performance tuning, security access, documentation.
Will particiapte in setting and documenting standards. Will participate in migrations and integration.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Solid experience in SQL Server 7.0/2000 database administration. Extremely strong background in database tuning, optimization and maintenance. Very solid troubleshooting skills. Should have some experience in coding, but most of the work to be performed will be testing, optimization, and tuning. Must work well with people of different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. Must have good communication skills both oral and written (including good interpersonal skills). Ability to consistently produce quality documentation. Can express complex technical concepts effectively both verbally and in writing. Consistently functions at or above performance standards with a minimal amount of supervision. BS or BA Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
