Description
SQL Database Developers needed for FT opportunities!
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
  • Design,modify, troubleshoot and maintain large complex databases in a team
    environment using SQL Server and other software programs.
  • Understanding business requirements and convert business requirements to system designs
  • Designing database schema(tables, columns, relationships, constraints, keys)
  • Documenting database designs, relationships and objects
  • Developing T-SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
  • Analyzing database execution plans for proper creation of indexes
  • Analyzing and debuging stored procedures for optimal efficiency
  • Creating deployment scripts for automated installations and rollbacks
  • Documenting and communicating database interfaces to business application developers
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 2-4 years experience in database design and development
Strengths:
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication when relaying technical information to an audience with a variety of skillsets
  • Problem Solving: Analytical with the ability to identify the "simple" solution given "complex" requirements
  • Teamwork: Flexibility to work within an integrated team




    Experience/Skills
    Relevant experience in:
    • Writing T-SQL stored procedures, creating DTS packages and developing and executing scripted scenarios
    • Designing relational databases (SQL 2000, Oracle)
    • Indepth knowledge of SQL, TSQL and OLTP
    • Experience in SQL DBA, MS SQL Reporting services and OLAP desirable but not essential

      Other desired skills:
