SQL Server Database Developer (2000 or 2005)

* Proficient with database design to support web based transactional data collection system. Proficient with relational modeling and normal forms.
* Proficient with database design to support OLAP. Proficient with dimensional modeling.
* Advanced proficiency with SQL.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
* Ability to design and develop complex stored procedures.
* Understanding and implementing business rules. Data loading.
Technical skills essential for this assignment: typically 3-5 years of database development experience.
* Performance tuning of SQL code.
* Ability to translate requirements into solutions.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office. Capable of producing process flow diagrams, data model diagrams, data dictionaries, and other technical documentation.
* Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
* Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for achieving results.
