We have an immediate need for an SQL Server Developer with Java Development ability.

Job Description:
CDI has an immediate need for a SQL Server developer with Java development ability. This is a long term, 6 months, assignment on CDI's W-2 with one of are large corporate clients.

Candidates should have experience with stored procedures, SQL, and DTS/SSIS. The work will include upgrading apps from SQL Server 2000 to 20005 & 2008.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 - 7 years of equivalent software development experience.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple technical projects to completion using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
  • Extensive analytical/development skills in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 (DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, views, etc.) and relational database design.
  • Programming skills in Java, JSP, Servlets, Java Beans and other related technologies.
  • Proficient at developing enterprise applications using WebLogic or another enterprise Application Server.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced development skills in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.
  • Good knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlets and WebLogic 8.1.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Project, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Visio is preferred.
  • Experience with MS Access and/or .NET C# is definitely a plus.
